An extraordinary journey to the top of the world, “To The Arctic 3D” tells the ultimate tale of survival. Captivating, adventurous and intimate footage brings moviegoers up close and personal with this family’s struggle to survive in a frigid environment of melting ice, immense glaciers, spectacular waterfalls, and majestic snow-bound peaks. Warner Bros. Pictures and IMAX® Filmed Entertainment present a MacGillivray Freeman Film, “To The Arctic,” a One World One Ocean presentation, directed by two-time Academy Award®-nominated filmmaker Greg MacGillivray (“The Living Sea,” “Dolphins”). Filmed in 15/70mm IMAX ®3D. Songs by Paul McCartney.

Surfing in the Arctic!

From the Royal kingdom of Norway, high up on the arctic circle. In a deep protected fjord, on a mountain top rising almost 1000 meter right out of the ocean you find the pure and clean source of the RoyalH2O.

We live close to the nature and over 600 meters almost straight down into the deep, clean and often wild fjord you find a heaven for surfers who like something else. Specially during the fall and winter storms waves grow to a frightening height for the most of us. But the brave surfers here show how to tame the massive waves.

This is a very distressing reminder of dolphin slaughter in stills & moving footage.

The Cove is a 2009 documentary film documenting the annual killing of more than 2,500 dolphins in a cove at Taiji, Wakayama in Japan. The film was directed by former National Geographic photographer Louis Psihoyos, and was filmed secretly during 2007 using underwater microphones and high-definition cameras disguised as rocks.

Dolphins still need to be protected today. Check out @dolphinfreedom

Photographer Brian Skerry reveals the creatures once believed to be mermaids.

Or close relatives?

About:
Diana, a stubborn mermaid, is determined to bring justice to the men who killed her merman father. Never having lived out of water before, she enlists the help of her two sisters (already living on land) to track down the murderers. Diana finds that her sister, Venus, is an aquatic dancer in a seedy bar who was forced into the position by the evil bar owner who has taken Venus’ magic tiara, giving him ultimate control of her. June, the third sister, works at the local aquarium and is able to recruit the help of her friend, and love interest, Randy, a coast guard officer, to help the mermaids track down their father’s killers. The sisters join forces and along the way, discover how difficult it is to be a fish out of water, and how meaningful sisterhood is.
