Polluted Rivers: Argentina’s Matanza-Riachuelo River

This river which meanders for 40 miles through Buenos Aires, is one of the world’s most heavily polluted by industrial waste, sewage, and garbage.   For the seven million people that live near or along the river this means dirty water, dirty air, and health risks.
