‘Waterworld’
‘Waterworld’ is a 1995 film starring Kevin Costner as a lone sea trader trying to survive on a post-apocalyptic Earth. The polar ice caps have melted and the ocean has risen to cover all the worlds land mass. Pirates now roam the seas and small pockets of colonies try to survive on man made islands against these plunderers and the water-world itself.
Could this be our future? With the ice caps melting at an alarming rate this fiction doesn’t seem too far-fetched.
