Debate: Plastic Kills Like Tobacco
Merblogogy: How come plastic packaging isn't marked with a death warning just like cigarette packaging? Plastic isn't biodegrable friendly, plastic in the sea is KILLING birds and fish.

Debate: North Sea Gas Leak
JA: Wow. Unbelievably dangerous and yet again admissions of the unknown by those responsible - virtual incompetence - the sea was BOILING. Why are these risks even possible?????!!!!!
E: I know! You'd think more would've been done to prevent this? "there is no immediate risk to any personnel." - no, but there is to the sea! Ignorance!
JA: And on a scale the same as BP Oil - maybe we need WWII sirens in relation to eco crime! They'd never be off!
E: Absolutely! There has to be a solution! Has to be!
JA: Funny how news is now tucked away despite the fact that the situation is still considered dangerous. (01/04/12)
E: They're saying it could last 6 months! If that's not dangerous I don't know what is!?

Debate: Merblogogy and Sea Ecology
E: This is disgraceful. We should be doing more to protect the seas. If we don't change the way we treat the sea these statistics will only get worse.
Merblogogy: Absolutely, if only more people had the same attitude. What are you doing to help? Let us know using the ? or on twitter @merblogogy.
E: I watched the Fish Fight on telly and was blown away by what I saw. Any news on what has happened since?
Merblogogy: Yes, good news regarding France & Spain. Only last week they backed down on fish discards.
